When I first became a professional Artist I produced a range of studies of the landscape around Sulham, Reading and along the Thames Valley, many were made into prints, cards, Callendars and the like.

 

The painting of the Thames in all its moods allowed me to start to capture water in many types of light, a great foundation for when I moved on to the capture of light on water as my defining characteristic,
